When you order Local Boost 30, we begin work immediately on everything we can — audit, keyword research, content writing, and planning. However, to optimise your Google Business Profile we need verified access to it. Until that access is confirmed, we cannot make live changes to your profile.
For this reason, the 30-day delivery window officially begins on the date verified access to your Google Business Profile is confirmed — not on the date of payment. Everything that can be done before that point will be, so there is no wasted time on our end.
Google requires every business to verify ownership of their Google Business Profile before changes can be made or the profile can rank properly. This is a fraud-prevention measure — and it is entirely Google's process, not ours.
Verification typically happens by one of three methods:
Google mails a PIN to your registered business address. The most common method for new or recently changed profiles. If the postcard is missed or lost, a second one must be requested — adding more time.
Google asks you to record a short video showing your business frontage, interior, and proof of ownership such as signage or a utility bill. Google reviews the video and may request a second attempt.
A code sent immediately by SMS or email. Google only offers this to businesses with an established online presence. If available, we will always use this method first.
We handle the entire verification process on your behalf and keep you updated at every step. In most cases, verification is completed within a few days. In rare cases involving postcard delays or video re-submissions, it can take up to two to three weeks.
In some cases, Google's automated systems can suspend a Google Business Profile during or after optimisation — particularly when significant changes such as category updates or business name edits are made. This is not common, but it does happen, and it is outside our control.

To deliver Local Boost 30, GBP Setup, and Growth Plan services, Search Boost works with a vetted specialist contractor. This contractor is granted editor-level access to your Google Business Profile through Search Boost's own agency Google account only — your personal Google credentials are never shared with or accessible to the contractor at any point. The contractor acts as a sub-processor under Search Boost's supervision and instruction and is bound by confidentiality obligations. They do not receive your name, email address, payment information, or any personal data beyond the Google Business Profile itself.
By granting access to your Google Business Profile, your profile data is managed through Google's platforms in accordance with Google's own terms and privacy policy. Search Boost accesses only what is necessary to deliver the agreed service.
Our service delivery contractor may be based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, the data transferred takes the form of Google Business Profile editor access only — no personal data including name, email, or payment information is transferred internationally. This access is granted through Search Boost's agency account and governed by Google's platform terms, which include appropriate safeguards for international data handling under GDPR Article 46.
As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@searchboost.ie. Search Boost is a digital marketing service based in Ireland, providing Google Business Profile optimisation, website design, and local SEO services to Irish businesses. By purchasing any service from searchboost.ie, you agree to these Terms of Service in full.
Each service (Local Boost 30, Growth Plan, GBP Setup, Website Design, Zero to Online) is described in detail on the relevant service page. The deliverables listed for each service constitute the full scope of that engagement. Additional work outside the listed deliverables is not included and would be subject to a separate agreement.
Search Boost reserves the right to substitute equivalent deliverables where a listed item is no longer technically applicable, provided the overall quality and outcome of the service is not materially reduced.
The 30-day delivery window for Local Boost 30 begins on the date that verified access to the client's Google Business Profile is confirmed — not on the date of payment. Preparatory work including auditing, keyword research, and content creation commences immediately upon payment.
Google's verification process — which may involve postcard delivery (5–14 days), video verification (3–10 days), or instant phone/email verification — is outside Search Boost's control. Delays caused by Google's verification process do not constitute a breach of these terms.
In the event that Google suspends a client's profile during the sprint — for example, as a result of category or business name changes — the 30-day clock is paused for the duration of the suspension. Search Boost will manage the reinstatement appeal on the client's behalf at no additional cost. The sprint resumes once access is restored.
In the vast majority of cases, Local Boost 30 is completed within the 30-day window. Clients are kept informed of progress and any delays throughout.
The Zero to Online package is delivered in two parts: a one-page website and a Google Business Profile setup. The 5-day timeline refers to the website component, which is typically completed within 3–5 days of receiving the client's assets (business details, photos, and logo).
The Google Business Profile element is subject to Google's verification process, which may extend beyond 5 days in some cases — particularly where postcard verification is required. This is outside Search Boost's control. Where instant verification is available, it will always be used. The website portion is never delayed by GBP verification.
Search Boost will keep the client informed throughout and the bundle is not considered complete until both components are delivered.
To deliver services effectively, the client agrees to:
Search Boost will deliver measurable improvement in Google Business Profile visibility — tracked by profile views, search impressions, and direction requests — within the 30-day sprint, subject to the verification and suspension caveats outlined in Section 3.
The degree of ranking improvement varies based on the client's location, industry, and level of local competition. Search Boost does not guarantee a specific ranking position. Clients in highly competitive markets (e.g. Dublin city centre hospitality) should expect gradual improvement over a longer timeframe.
Improvements achieved during Local Boost 30 are best maintained through consistent ongoing activity — particularly review generation. Search Boost recommends the Growth Plan for clients who wish to sustain and build on their initial results.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. One-time services (Local Boost 30, GBP Setup, Website Design, Zero to Online) are charged in full at the point of order. The Growth Plan is charged monthly — €99 for the first month, then €199 per month thereafter.
All prices are quoted in Euro and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required by Irish law.
The Growth Plan may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing month.
One-time services (Local Boost 30, GBP Setup, Website Design, Zero to Online) are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work is deemed to have commenced within 24 hours of payment, when preparation and planning begins.
If Search Boost is unable to deliver the agreed service for reasons within our control, a full or partial refund will be issued at our discretion.
All written content, descriptions, and reports produced by Search Boost and delivered to the client become the client's property upon full payment. Website designs produced under Website Design or Zero to Online packages are licensed to the client for use on their business website.
Search Boost services depend on third-party platforms including Google Business Profile, Google Maps, and Stripe. Search Boost is not responsible for changes to these platforms, including algorithm updates, policy changes, profile suspensions initiated by Google, or Stripe processing issues. We will always act in the client's best interest in navigating such situations.
Search Boost's liability is limited to the value of the service purchased. We are not liable for indirect losses including loss of revenue, loss of customers, or business interruption resulting from changes to Google's platforms or algorithms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
